Insights Manager

Petra has an insatiable curiosity and thirst for understanding which has led her on a unique journey from high-performance sport coaching (international team coach for 3 different nations) into research, monitoring and evaluation.  Her eclectic education background has seen her study law, psychology, political science at undergraduate level and both International development and sport coaching at postgraduate level

As a researcher Petra has a specialisation in social research, monitoring and evaluation.  Her work has taken her diverse directions from examining human rights in China, evaluating services that support corrections clients as they reintegrate into the community, through to evaluating health and social service programs through an indigenous lens. As a Pacifica researcher her post graduate research has focused on how sport can be used as a tool to support social inclusion for urbanised mãori with chronic health conditions, utilising kaupapa methodologies to develop a context-specific indigenous framework for social inclusion.

Petra possesses unique skills which allow her to quickly analyse situations, people, and data to find answers to complex questions, harnessing cutting-edge practices to provide actionable insights leading to positive outcomes for stakeholders.
