When we see the word recruitment, we think about hiring people for a job. In a way that is what we do, but recruitment is much more, it is about finding people with specific attributes to contribute to and inform our thinking on specific topics.

In qualitative research you need to talk to people and have discussions about a topic rather than a collecting data through a scripted survey.
These discussions can be carried out in several ways. These are normally:
- In-depth interviews (IDIs) – one on one discussions
- Focus groups – 6-10 participants in group discussions
- Charettes – Up to 50 people in multiple group discussions
IDI’s and Focus groups can be held in person in our specially designed rooms, or online using online meeting technologies like Zoom or MS Teams.
Often our clients want a particular demographic of person. For example, you may need certain ages or genders. Then you might want to drill down even further to relationship status, or maybe if they have children. Or perhaps it is even more specific around such things like eating or TV viewing habits. Whether it is using our existing databases of willing participants or recruiting via social media and other networks, our team can find the specific demographic you are looking for.
Our team also have the capacity to undertake product testing. Recently we recruited large groups of people who sampled a client’s new product and then ask them certain questions about say taste, texture, looks, price and branding. This can be valuable information for a client who may be about to release a new or rebranded product to market. This feedback can be invaluable in helping you to get it right first time.
